Have business cards printed with your contact information and some brief description of the kind of work you are looking for. One group member has had good results with Vistaprint.ca. Here's another tip: Bring your damn cards with you all the time! My informal survey shows that 3 times out of 4, when I ask a group member for their card, they don't have it!
